ROME: for a few hours only..sadly

Rome is really something. There are bits of old Roman, Romans type stuff everywhere. In august, the 20ish, the roads were quite. We were told it's due to the modern day Romans being on annual holiday and many firms closing for the recess.

That said, it was just so empty it was untrue. You could put a bag over your head, walk out into any road, and its odd on you won't get hit..even if you then sat down!!!

The Vatican is just so big. The Vatican Museum...well...BIG is not the word. We went to see the Sistine Chapel - part of the Vatican Museum, and it takes forever to find it, corridors, stairs, walkways....and even longer to get out. St. Peter's Square is vast, it's just got to be seen.

Well worth it though.
