Jim Payne says "Here I offer a CD of high resolution images (higher than listing pictures) taken from an original WW2 German soldier's album in my collection.  I believe the former owner was part of the support staff for Rommel.  The CD contains a total of 175 images (the entire album) all relating to the campaign in Poland (no family or homefront shots).  All photo taken between 1 and 29 September 1939

There are lots of images of German tanks and knocked out Polish tanks, vehicles, war dead (both German and Polish soldiers), Polish POWs, planes, devastation/ bomb damage to towns/buildings.  Very good images which give a real feel for the time this man spent in Poland in the early part of WW2.

What I look for in a collectable photo album is authenticity...  This one was complete, not messed about with, same faces reappear, images are taken from different positions, nothing was removed...  It tells a story!"

The images here are very low resolution only, on the CD they print out to A4 and A3 really well. Jim is doing an amazing job, buying in these albums at auctions etc, and rather than keeping them to himself in his own collection, he is making them easily available to all, costs ?? with p&p, less than a £ tenner - an amazing buy. The more you buy off him, the more albums he will get and so the the more you will get, so do it!! I have because I want to see more.
